The most recent Quest entry on this list is for Quake 3 Arena, a classic multiplayer shooter that Team Beef has worked long and hard to bring to Quest 2. Including fully tracked VR weapons, support for 90, 80 and 72Hz framerates and cross-platform play with PC and Android players, this is easily one of the best VR mods yet.

Team Beef has also been busy bringing some id Software classics and their spin-offs to VR. With QuestZDoom, you can play the original Doom, Wolfenstein 3D and titles like Heretic in full 6DOF VR with support for other mods. Plus the team has done full ports of Quake 1 and 2, and its most recent efforts brought Doom 3 to Quest too.
Right now you can download the R.E.A.L. VR mod for GTA5 from Github (opens in new tab), though Luke's mods for the Mafia trilogy and Red Dead Redemption 2 are still in development and only obtainable by subscribing to his Patreon (opens in new tab). Luke recently told the Verge (opens in new tab) that he earns over $20,000 a month from his Patreon backers, who receive access to prototype builds of his VR mods for not just Rockstar games, but also Horizon Zero Dawn, Dark Souls: Remastered, Cyberpunk 2077, and Elden Ring.
The DMCA notice doesn't seem to have anything to do with whether Luke makes a profit from his mods, however, simply demanding the removal of copyrighted works rather than demonetizing them. As Luke puts it, "this was filed as a copyright issue and not a licensing issue, so the motivation for the request does not appear to be related to the fact that there is money involved."
This is far from the first time Take-Two has used DMCA notices to get GTA mods taken offline, of course. And just as previous takedowns fueled rumors of the GTA Trilogy remasters, this could suggest Rockstar is working on its own VR re-releases of these games. People did seem to enjoy LA Noire: The VR Case Files, and a VR version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was announced for the Meta Quest 2 in 2021, though we've heard no more about it since then.
Love this game still one of my favorites, just wish that Rockstar would make a sequel. I don't remember there really being really and graphic mods for the game and I have seen multiple issues of trying to force the game to run at 60fps. But I had no problems playing the game as is out of the box so it didn't really bother me.
A large number of people complain about their Fallout 4 mods not working. What causes mods not working on Fallout 4? If you are also struggling to figure it out, you come to the right place. Today, MiniTool will explain it and provides corresponding solutions for you.
Nexus Mod Manager is a free and open software that enables you to download, tweak, and save your games. Now, many mods for Fallout 4 has been available. However, a lot of users encounter Fallout 4 mods not working when using Nexus Mode Manager on the game.
Why does GTA 5 need a port so badly? Because quite simply, this new San Andreas/Los Santos map is one of the most vibrant video game maps ever created, and the resulting possibilities for mods are almost endless. You only need to look to the last most impressive video game world over the last few years, Skyrim, to see what mods can add to a game.
Skyrim was a fun game to begin with, but for years now, dedicated players have been making their own mods for the game, dramatically expanding the game's content with both zany and serious features. And lots of nudity, but that comes with the territory.
Imagine the possibilities with GTA 5. The game would get countless visual upgrade mods for starters, and if the ones from GTA IV are any indication (as seen above), they would be absolutely gorgeous. Current issues with the game like the fact that almost every building is unable to be entered could be solved by mods. New cars, weapons, clothes, missions, anything really could all be added. They could truly make use of one of the best video game sandboxes to exist in some time, because Rockstar simply didn't have time to make it any bigger or deeper.
None of this would affect DLC which Rockstar is obviously planning to make. Despite the fact that it would sell well, PC is still a relatively small market compared to the consoles. And Skyrim released a ton of DLC amid all the mods, and that worked out just fine.
Obvious I'm not privy to the amount of work it would take to port GTA 5 to the PC, but it would seem like a hugely wasted opportunity if it went the way of Red Dead Redemption instead of its predecessor, GTA IV. Aside from PC players who want to play the core game, there's just so much potential for further expansion of Los Santos through mods, Rockstar owes it to their own game to see what fans can come up with.
While it is a piece of good news that this exclusive title has finally arrived on PC. It is also expected that there will be tons of mods that will be coming to this game. It has lots of potentials that you can think of, maybe Arthur riding a Lamborghini car in the year 1900s? or a friendly Nemisis Dutch? 2ff7e9595c
